Wildflower Antiques 0 Stars! Awful! “WATCH OUT!!!\n\nIn 2008 I consigned over $1,000 worth of jewelry to this shop. After over a year of inquiring about the sale status of my property, I was ignored, not called back, etc. Only in 2010 with a vigorous local intervention of a friend did I finally get a begrudging check for only 3 of 4 items. The 4th item has yet to be returned to me, as promised (with a police officer as witness).\n\nBEWARE the terms of contract: after 6 months all unsold items become their property. Good luck trying to get your money or items back before then! I've heard from several random locals of similar experiences of delay and getting blown off until this 180 day window has passed. \n\nIf, after reading this, you are still considering consigning your valuables here, at least take detailed photos of them, negotiate your contract to protect yourself (i.e., that your property remains your property, and that they are responsible for its return), demand that the shop have a secured creditor bond in place with the courthouse, and have witnesses to all transactions. Record every conversation with these people. \n\nEven then, good luck!”
